My name is Susana Borges, i am clinical psychologist, working in humanitarian field as country and field coordinator, but soon i will be working more directly in psychosocial support. I would like to know if this trainings are only for Red Cross staff or if is open for others? I am really interested in doing training about psychosocial support for emergencies, for example. Thank you for your answer.

      Dear Susana,

Thanks for your comment and your interest in the work we do.

The PS Centre trainings are primarily for Red Cross Red Crescent staff and volunteers. We have limited training capacity and our mission is to build capacity in the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, so this is where we focus our efforts. For some of our more specialized trainings we will sometimes open a few spots to participants from other organizations, but probably not for the PSS in emergencies training as it is designed specifically for the organizational context of the Red Cross Red Crescent response in emergencies.
      Kind regards,
