2016 PS Academy trainings

In this section you will find the PS Academy trainings planned for 2016. All workshops take place in Copenhagen. Participants, must cover their own expenses for travel, accomodation and per diem, but there is no training fee.


If you would like to participate in a training, please read the information about each training, and apply via the online application system provided in the training description. After the application deadline, participants selected for the training will be notified and receive further practical information.

Please observe deadlines carefully, especially if you require a visa to enter Denmark.

Psychosocial Support in Emergencies - training in Copenhagen 31 October to 4 November 2016. Deadline for registration 15 August 2016
Copenhagen 4 to 7 October 2016: This training prepares participants to facilitate the Community-based psychosocial support foundationtraining. It gives participants deeper insight into the content of Community-based psychosocial support – training kit, as the participants will facilitate parts from the modules in the training kit

This training is our foundation course for building the skills needed to provide psychosocial support. Participants will gain insight into aspects of the psychosocial impact of crises and disasters and acquaint them with psychosocial support activities and programming.
