Community-based psychosocial support trainings

The PS Centre’s community-based psychosocial support trainings is a range of trainings in psychosocial support at different levels. The training of trainers (ToT) is aimed at people with a background and experience in psychosocial support, psychology, social work or other related fields, enabling them to provide basic training to volunteers and others working directly with beneficiaries.

The trainings can either be generic or be adapted to suit specific needs in the requesting National Society or region. The trainings can also be supplemented with shorter specialized training modules.

The PS Centre does not offer trainings to individuals, but arranges trainings in collaboration with National Societies and IFRC zone and regional offices. If you would like to participate in a training, talk to your National Society and see if there are any upcoming trainings in your region or suggest that one be arranged.
