Please find E-learning courses on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support recommended and acknowledged by The PS Centre.

The e-learning courses are a learning opportunity for everyone to understand and learn about MHPSS. The online trainings deliver free, high-quality learning opportunities for IFRC volunteers and staff to develop personal and professional skills.

Recommended online courses on MHPSS:

  • Restoring family links and psychosocial support: The goal of this e-learning course is to increase awareness and knowledge of psychosocial support and restoring family links practitioners with respect to each other’s area of expertise, so they are able to address the needs of beneficiaries more holistically. (Available in French, Italian, Spanish and English)
  • Psychological First Aid – Self-Care: This online course assists learners in developing a personal understanding of the effects of stress, loss, trauma and grief, with emphasis on self-care and personal protection. Learners will be introduced to the Red Cross Look, Listen, Link, Live model and will learn how to cope with the effects of various types of stress.

You can access the e-learning courses by visiting the Red Cross Red Crescent Learning platform at IFRC Learning, education and training platform. The courses are open to all; you just need to create an account and log in before proceeding. The PS Centre also recommends the E-learning courses on MHPSS at the online learning platform Coursera.
