The PS Centre has released five MHPSS progress reports providing insight into the challenges and needs of the IFRC, ICRC, and Red Cross Red Crescent National Societies working with MHPSS in Africa, the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe and Central Asia, and the Middle East and North Africa.
The latest report on MHPSS in the Americas Region highlights that the needs continue to grow, placing immense strain on existing resources and infrastructure. It's heartwarming to witness the incredible work being undertaken by the amazing network of volunteers and staff, often in the face of overwhelming adversity. Now more than ever, we must come together to prioritize mental health and psychosocial support, ensuring that no one is left behind in their journey towards healing and resilience. This report serves as a clarion call for urgent action and unwavering solidarity in addressing the critical MHPSS needs in the Americas Region

In 2019 a baseline MHPSS survey was conducted to take stock of the Movement’s MHPSS activities and services. In 2021 a second Movement-wide survey came out, resulting in a global report and regional breakdowns, followed by an end-line survey in 2023. The latest five reports provide the current status as compared to the previous years’ reports.
Over 163 National Societies, the IFRC, and ICRC have responded to the surveys.
