When we look at access to legal rights, we can see in general persons with disabilities have struggled to have this legal capacity recognized. This is why the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities protects these rights. So, through this convention, all other disabilities have improved their access to these rights. But this is still a big issue for people with mental health conditions
