Heartbeat of Humanity: Mental Health and Human Rights

When we look at access to legal rights, we can see in general persons with disabilities have struggled to have this legal capacity recognized. This is why the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities protects these rights. So, through this convention, all other disabilities have improved their access to these rights. But this is still a big issue for people with mental health conditions

In the latest episode of Heartbeat of Humanity, Communications Officer Jesper Guhle interviews Carmen Valle-Trabadelo about the linkage between Mental Health and Human Rights.

The podcast Heartbeat of Humanity is mainly for staff and volunteers in the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, especially staff and volunteers working in mental health and psychosocial support services.
