Two vacancies in the PS Centre

The IFRC Psychosocial Centre (PS Centre) currently has two vacancies:

Finance and HR Officer

The PS Centre is looking for an experienced finance and HR officer to join our international team in Copenhagen. The person will support the financial management of a variety of donor funded projects related to capacity building of Red Cross Red Crescent National Societies globally and support administrative HR processes in the PS Centre.

In this position you will support the Operations Unit on financial management of a portfolio of multi-annual projects. Currently, the IFRC PS Centre is implementing 8-10 small to large scale projects and several more are in the pipeline. You will collaborate closely with the IFRC PS Centre’s project managers and other highly talented and dedicated PS Centre co-workers in ensuring high quality financial management. You will also work closely with a Danish Cross Controller and other relevant finance staff.

You will also support the Head of Operations in delivering timely and qualified human resource support to the other Units of the PS Centre. This will include recruitment, contracting and onboarding support. You will also be collaborating with the Danish Red Cross HR department on other administrative HR tasks.

You will be using your skills and experience to deliver timely, effective and competent HR and Finance support in PS Centre. You must provide excellent staff/management service, demonstrate initiative, take ownership of responsibilities and complete projects successfully.

You will become part of a lively, ambitious, and well-functioning team, where we care for each other and value a good work-life balance. The position is based in Copenhagen and it is a requirement to work out of the Copenhagen office.

Project Manager

The PS Centre is looking for an experienced project manager to join our international team in Copenhagen. The person will manage a variety of donor funded projects related to capacity building of Red Cross Red Crescent National Societies globally.

You will independently manage a portfolio of multi-annual projects. Currently, the IFRC PS Centre is implementing 8-10 small to large scale projects and several more are in the pipeline. As a project manager in the IFRC PS Centre you will collaborate closely with highly talented and dedicated PS Centre co-workers, National Society focal points and external partners.

In the position you will be using your skills and experience to lead and manage the timely, effective and efficient planning and implementation of selected PS Centre projects.

You will become part of a lively, ambitious, and well-functioning team, where we care for each other and value a good work-life balance. The position is based in Copenhagen and it is a requirement to work out of the Copenhagen office.
