In April 2024, 22 trainers and sports coaches from Romania, Moldova and Ukraine met in Bucharest for a Sport Coach+ Training
The Sport Coach+ project is led by the PS Centre in partnership with the Olympic Refuge Foundation, Ukrainian Red Cross Society, Romanian Red Cross, Bulgarian Red Cross, Czech Red Cross and Polish Red Cross. The goal of the project is to deliver a foundational skills training in trauma-informed practices to sport coaches working with displaced and vulnerable young people across Ukraine and neighbouring countries. The project aims to reach 2.500 coaches in 8 countries, benefitting a total of 100.000 young people.
