Supervision is internationally recognised as a vital component of mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) service provision and is especially important in emergency settings. This guide has been developed to support National Societies in planning and facilitating a workshop with leaders and managers aimed at setting up and developing a supportive supervision structure. Some National Societies may already have some supervision approaches embedded in programme areas; this guide may also help to develop supportive supervision structures further.
