In early 2022, as a result of the escalation of the Russia-Ukraine international armed conflict, millions of Ukrainians fled to neighbouring countries and beyond.
In the initial phase the Slovak Red Cross offered psychological first aid (PFA) and as the crisis evolved response shifted to community mental health and psychosocial support through a variety of activities and services.
